He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Eckstein and Laura Eckstein (Schiller); his granddaughter Jada Schwarzrock; and his siblings, Gladys Portner, Tony Eckstein and Jim Eckstein.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Eckstein of Fairfax; his children, Brian Eckstein (Brandi) of Buffalo Lake, Jeff Eckstein (Mesa) of Maple Grove, Renae Schwarzrock (Paul "Wally") of Gibbon and Sara Schweiss (Chris) of North Mankato; and his grandchildren, Allie, Lexie Eckstein, Sloan, Fallon Eckstein, Kora Schwarzrock, Cole, Shay, Jace and Jaxson Schweiss. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
