She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Rathmann and Angeline Rathmann (Huhn); her husband LeRoy Vait; and her siblings, Judy Rathmann, Sharon Grochow (Maynard) and Larry Rathmann (Linda).
She is survived by: her children, Michael Vait (Maribeth) of Fairfax, MN, Thomas Vait, Sheryl Rooney (Wayne) and Ranee Volkers of St. Paul, MN; her grandchildren, Bill Vait (Maggie), Erin Karlin (Dan), Rachel Vait, Tyler, Bryce Rooney, Carson and Ellie Volkers; and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Nolan, Brennan Vait, Makswell, Kaija Karlin and Nelli Rooney. She is also survived by Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
