It is with sadness that the passing of Albert Theodore Schaefer of Fairmont, Minnesota is shared. Albert, born on May 23, 1949, passed away on September 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Albert will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Though Albert is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Albert’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Sr. Schaefer and Imogene Schaefer (Ottinger); and his brother-in-law Barry Fromm. He is survived by: his son Daniel Schaefer (Maggie Sacolick) of Columbus, OH; his wife Marcia; his son Nathan Hansen (Mandi Abigt-Hansen) of Nashville, TN; his sister Lynda Fromm; and his grandchildren, Mackenzie (Mark) and Chase.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lakeview Funeral Home (205 Albion Ave, Fairmont, MN 56031).
