She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Fillmore and Meta Fillmore (Luedtke); her former husband Wally Peters of Martin's Episcopal Church; her parents-in-law, Arthur and Lydia Peters; her brother Edward Fillmore (Joyce); and her in-laws, Alfred, Lydia Roesner (Peters), Arthur Peters, Jack, Ann Vollrath (Peters) and William Peters.

She is survived by: her husband John Deere; her children, Bruce (Paula) of Fairmont, Paul (Benadene) of Ceylon and Elizabeth Viesselman (Richard) of Trimont; her grandchildren, Eric Peters (Jenna), Lisa Campbell (Jeremiah), Michael Peters (Arica), Rachel Viesselman and Matthew Viesselman; and her great grandchildren, Layla, Ivy Peters, Grace, Noah, Wesley Campbell, Daley, Sylvie and Rosie Peters. She is also survived by cousin, a nephew, and nieces.

Memorials are preferred to the Martin County Historical Society, UHD Hospice, Fairmont Dollars for Scholars, or other local charities.
