It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Lohse of Fairmont, Minnesota, who passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Barbara leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Barbara may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Brookins and Katherine Brookins (Kline); her husband Dale Lohse; and her brothers, Roger Brookins, Robert Brookins and Roy Brookins.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Lohse (Joan) of Welcome, Minnesota and Jennifer Lohse of Fairmont, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Charles Lohse and Katie Hickel (Mike); and her sisters, Beverly Brookins and Rosalie Brookins. She is also survived by sisters-in-law on the Lohse side; nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Welcome City Cemetery (1163 125th St, Welcome, MN 56181).
