She was predeceased by : her father Donald Alvin; her friend Bonnie Lenz; her mother Mary Ann Harder (Koeritz); her stepfather Mel Harder; and her brothers, Larry Swift and Dan Swift.

She is survived by : her sons, Dereck Graplar (Kelly) of Spencer, IA and Ryan Graplar (Jodi) of Truman, MN; her grandchildren, Shawn Graplar, Kayla Graplar and Aaron Graplar; her siblings, Pat Sohre (Art), Steve Swift (Lisa) and Tim Swift (Michelle); and her sister-in-law Karen Swift. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
