He was predeceased by: his parents, Armond Dobson and Dorothy Dobson (Tonn); his brother Roger Dobson; his father-in-law Rodney Heckman (Lori); and his nephew Eric Dobson.
He is survived by: his wife Nita Dobson of Fairmont, MN; his daughters, Tammy Schultze (Oz) of Hemet, CA and Holly Hegdal (Jason) of Fairmont, MN; his grandchildren, Dominic Hegdal and Chaselynn Schultze; and his brother Dan Dobson (Pam) of Belle Plaine, MN.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church - Fraser (1623 170th St, Fairmont, MN 56031). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to the Michael J. Fox Foundation or to St. James Lutheran Church School.
