He was predeceased by : his parents, Royola McMann and Ralph McMann; his wife Carol Walters; his daughter Melinda Walters; his grandson Cody Dollen; his siblings, Edith, Lyle, Alex, Dawn and Gail; his sister-in-law Betty Moeller; and his father-in-law LeRoy Olson.

He is survived by : his children, Monica Peterson, Wayne Walters (Denise) and Amber Walters; his stepchildren, Stacy Eckmann, Jacob Eckmann (Bridget), Chad Eckmann (Torre) and Nicole Wempen (Paul); his grandchildren, Crystal, Katie, Andrew, Melinda, Tony, Robert, Jordan, Allyson, Connor, Kaytlin, Madison, Charlotte, KayLynn, Austin, Alisa and Matthew; and his siblings, Kurt Samuelson, Louise Kesselring (Sue) and Richard McMann (Linda). He is also survived by 26 great grandchildren.
