Dorene D. Luhmann Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 8, 2023, at the age of 89, Dorene D. Luhmann of Fairmont, Minnesota, born in Bemidji, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ed Custard and Margaret Custard (Cornell); her husband Harland Luhmann; her siblings, David Custard and Judy Saunders; and her parents-in-law, Harry, Vera Luhmann, Florence Cottew (Lyle), LaVera Skalicky (Frank), Kenny Luhmann (Vi), Sharon Luhmann and Russell Luhmann (Lucille).

She is survived by : her children, Laurie Yost (Brad) of Fairmont, WV, Ann Struss (Brian) of Fairmont, MN, Lon Luhmann (Heidi) of Fairmont, MN and Greg Luhmann (Deanne) of Fairmont, MN; her grandchildren, Trana Householder, Jacob Luhmann (Ashley), Alex Luhmann (Melissa), Lindsey Luhmann (Kris Olson), Jason Struss, Kristin Bliven, Cory Luhmann (Cas), Harley Luhmann (Ashley), Brent Yost (Ashley) and Ryan Yost (Josie); her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Grayson, Beckett, Kadence, Kanon, Kaden, Logyn, Karver, Loula, Elliana, Tayah, Keegan, Catherine, Ryker, Kambri, Adalynn and Raylynn; her siblings, Dwayne Custard (Karen), Peggy Nelson (Dick) and Gayla Miller (Jim); and her siblings-in-law, Peggy Custard and Carroll Luhmann. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Memorials may be made in Dorene's name to the Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center Building Blocks Learning Center and Child Care Project and the Martin County Humane Society of Fairmont.
