Dorothy Saxton Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Saxton of Fairmont, Minnesota, born in Faribault, Minnesota, who passed away on June 23, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Roscoe E. Garlick and Gertrude H. Garlick (Griffith); her husband Lyle Saxton; her sons, John Saxton, Leland Saxton and Roger Saxton; her grandson-in-law Chris Leinonen; and her siblings, Arlene Ellis (George), George Garlick (Bonnie) and Oliver Garlick (Marvetta).

She is survived by : her children, Sara Rosol (Paul) of Eden Prairie, MN and Calvin Saxton (Jody) of Granada, MN; her daughter-in-law Lois Saxton of Rochester, MN; her grandchildren, Janet Glaser (Jim), Brenda Leinonen, Aaron Saxton (Vanessa), Daniel Saxton, Anne Saxton Wenz (Dan), Margo Becker (Mark), Zach Rosol (Annie), Nate Rosol (Olivia), Sam Rosol, Camren Saxton (Iliana Ramon) and Carissa Saxton; and her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Mattison, Alyssa, Kailee, Brittany, Evie, Stella, Owen, Zoe, Hadley, Charlotte, Noah and Theodore. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center or the United Methodist Church in Fairmont.
