He is survived by: his wife Joyce Diers (Ferguson) of Fairmont, MN; his children, Sheila Breitbarth (Jason) of Ellendale, MN, Chad Tolzmann (Jessica) of Fairmont, MN, Amanda Diers (James Schimmel) of Ceylon, MN, Anthony Asmus of Denver, CO and Darcy Rieke of Des Moines, IA; and his siblings, Marie Cook of Burt, IA, Don Diers (Kathy) of Algona, IA, Jerry Diers of Bancroft, IA, Pat Miller of Sauk Centre, MN and Bonnie Layher (Ed) of Brandon, SD. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
