He is survived by: his wife Janice Eckmann; his children, Benjamin Eckmann (Jessica) and Sara Peters (Evan); his grandchildren, Kylee Rhey (Brayden), Brody Eckmann, Kenzi Eckmann, Connor Peters and Myla Peters; his siblings, Alice Christenson (Don), Bob "Elmo" Eckmann (Joey), Melody Seifert and Kevin Eckmann (Raelin); his mother-in-law Caroline Kotewa; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Zehms (Dick), Jim Kotewa, Mary Becker, Joel Kotewa and Randy Kotewa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
