She was predeceased by: her parents, Enko Smidt and Clara Smidt (DeWall); her husband Walter Haler; and her son Maurice Haler. She is survived by: her children, Clare Schisler (Tom) of Woodbury, MN, Judith Anderson (Dale) of Ventura, IA, Edwin Haler of Winnebago, MN, Mel Haler (Tonya) of Lone Rock, IA and Gregory Haler (Becky); her grandchildren, Melissa Schisler, Mariah Melde (Matt), Ambre Waugh (Carl), Jessica Schroeder (J. D. "Judd"), John Anderson (Megan), Logan Anderson, Chelsea Maakstead (Trent), Luke Haler, Lily Haler, Bryce Haler (Eden), Jared Haler, Starr Oswald (Josh), Brandon Haler and Brittania Hern (John); her great grandchildren, Lucy, Oliver Melde, Aiden Waugh, Kailynn, Nolan, Jacob Anderson, Destyn, Dayton Maakstead, Cheyanne, Ayden Schroeder, Axel Haler, Jamari Haler, Remi, Tyson, Tatum Oswald, Hayden Hern, Sophira Hern, Cassandra Haler, Marissa Devereaux and Aliana Hern; her sister JoAnn McCloskey of Chaska, MN; and her sister-in-law Ruth Haler of St. James, MN. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and other extended family.
Memorials are preferred to Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont.
