He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis W. Kimmet and Anna Kimmet (Petersen); his sons-in-law, James and Scott; and his siblings, Mert, Judy, Connie and George.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Pedersen of Fairmont, MN; his pets, Ginger, Floppy, Samantha, Max, Smokey and Roxey; his children, Mary Neil (Jim) of Shakopee, MN, Lisa Tschetter of Sioux Falls, SD and David Kimmet (Marri) of Fairmont, MN; his grandchildren, Michael Broders (Sam), Jennifer Broders-Canali (Luca), Bryan Broders (Jing Du), Bailey Tschetter, Sydney Blume (Kris), Abbey Tschetter, Jordan Kimmet and Caleb Kimmet (Savannah); his great grandchildren, Scarlett Rose Kimmet and Piper Rose Blume; and his siblings, Tom Kimmet (Carol), Alice Jacobson and Louise Carley.
