She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Redenius and Bessie Redenius. She is survived by : her husband Carl Smith; her daughters, Karla Clark (William) of Prior Lake, MN and Shannon Deer (George) of Eagan, MN; her grandchild Ryan Shuck (Katie); her great grandchildren, Julianne, Jeremey and Joshua; her grandchild Lindsay Eidel (John); her great grandchildren, Cullen and Claire; her grandson Eric Hinderaker (Samantha); her great grandchildren, Hadley and William; her granddaughter Laura Christian (Peter); her great grandchildren, Henry and Theodore; her granddaughter Alison Schumann (Dan); her great grandchild Charlie; and her stepsister Renella Busk of Willmar, MN. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorials are preferred to the new daycare center at Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center.
