With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence G. Whitman (Fairmont, Minnesota), who passed away on April 7, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry and Augusta (Zehm); his wife Maxine Whitman (Schock); his siblings, Archie, Marlow, Donald, Jesse, Warren and Florence Rowley; and his parents-in-law, Ted and Cora Schock (Garrison).

He is survived by : his children, Rhonda Rudolph (Don), Roger Whitman (Sue) and Bruce Whitman (Tami); his grandchildren, Nate Rudolph (Gina), Christa Smith (Nicholas), Guy Rudolph (Mallory), Neil Whitman (Becky), Laura Koch (Zach), Cassie Becker (Ben), Megan Goraczkowski (JD) and Lindsey Becker (Brad); his great grandchildren, Mason, Bella, Ty Rudolph, Max, Ingrid Smith, Graham, Nolan, Jade Rudolph, Michael Johnson, Lucy, Millie Koch, Macey, Cohl Becker, Jackson, Kinsley Goraczkowski, Lylah, Cash and Lawsen Becker; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Brooks Whitman, Marge Schock and Lyle Shock. He is also survived by other extended family and friends.
