Leon A. Lammers Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon A. Lammers of Fairmont, Minnesota, who passed away on December 4, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Lammers (Bill) and Marie C. Lammers; his brothers, Fred Lammers, David Lammers and Richard Lammers; and his brothers-in-law, Delbert McDermott, Toby Westhoff, Rick Kass, Patrick Schermann and Patrick Showalter.

He is survived by: his children, Anne Keusemann (Paul), Cathy Barnett (Bill), Susan Michels (Charlie), Bill Lammers (Patricia) and Rob Lammers (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Abby Endres (Jacob), Nolan Lammers and Aiden Lammers; his great grandchild Iona Rose Endres; his siblings, Charles Lammers (Mary), Ruth Palzkill (Patrick) and Barbara McDermott; and his in-laws, Elizabeth Scherrman, Mary Margaret Westhoff, Jeanne Kass, Tim Showalter (Mary) and Dianne Showalter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the St. John Vianney Endowment Fund in Fairmont, Minnesota in Leon's honor.
