She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Schlappe and Julia Schlappe (Schletty); her husband Duane Reiter; her granddaughter Jennifer Reiter; her sister Mavis Kyllo; and her brothers-in-law, Palmer Kyllo and Gary Kasten.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Blake Reiter (Becky) of Poulsbo, WA, Dr. Mark Reiter (Ilene) of Fairmont, MN and Kathryn Mason (Jim) of Eden Prairie, MN.; her grandchildren, Jessica Reiter, Nicholas Reiter (Talia), Jacob Reiter (Kendra), Andrew Reiter (Tina Techar), Daniel Reiter, Sydney Casey (Chris) and Carter Mason; her great grandchildren, Luke Zelie, Arlo, Zoë Reiter, Leah, Maia Reiter and Callahan Casey; and her sister Kathleen Kasten.
