Marlene G. Simmering Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene G. Simmering of Fairmont, Minnesota, who passed away on November 16, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mothers, Carol T. Brockman and Grace L. Brockman (Searcy); her husband Eugene Simmering of Paul's Lutheran Church; her parents-in-law, Edward and Alma Simmering; her brothers, Arvid Brockman and Arlund Brockman; and her siblings-in-law, Donald Simmering, Milan Nagel, Lorna Simmering and Ardella Nagel.

She is survived by: her son Bryan Simmering (Judi Polzin); her grandson Travis Simmering (April); her great grandchildren, Isaac and Micah; her granddaughter Jessica Urban (Jerrick); her great grandchildren, Addy and Grayson; her granddaughter Rochelle Franzen (Jim); her great grandchild Sasha; her grandson Brad Simmering (Audra); her great grandchildren, Maya, Leyton and Bennett; and her sister-in-law Shirley Brockman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.

Her many talents included sewing, cooking, baking, donating her time offering those skills to others, and sharing her unwavering enthusiasm and optimism.
