He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Stromberg and Alma Stromberg (Soma); his wife Janice Stromberg; his son-in-law Chris Mielke; his granddaughter Morgan Mielke; his siblings, Janice Buhmann and Norman Stromberg; his siblings-in-law, Dennis Kastning and Diana Abelson; and his parents-in-law, Clarence and Winnefred Luhmann.
He is survived by: his children, Deb Cole of Ringsted, IA, Patti Mielke of East Chain, MN and Bob Stromberg (Lisa) of East Chain, MN; his grandchildren, Blake Cole (Ashley Cain), Blaine Cole (Mya Mosloski), Rachael Neufeld (Shawn), Derek Mielke (Courtney), Noah Wedel (Raquel Hernandez) and Logan Wedel; his great grandchildren, Jaxyn Spoon, Brycen, Hailey, Harley Cole, Willow, Colton Mielke and Kyler Wedel; his sister Judy Leiding (Terry); and his siblings-in-law, Darrell Buhmann, Vic Abelson, Claudia Kastning and Bev Sime. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family would prefer memorials to East Chain Lutheran Church, The Martin County Fair, or The East Chain Activity Center.
