She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Eden and Ella Eden (Welhousen); her husband Dewey Valentine; her son Douglas Valentine; and her grandson Samuel Gunderson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Valentine Cichanski (Mike) and DeAnn Valentine Campbell (Ken); her grandchildren, Katie Smye (Andy), Ben Cichanski and Erin Cichanski (Jacob); and her great grandchildren, Kailee, Brooklyn, Jackson Gunderson, Louisa, Florence and Henry Smye.
