He was predeceased by: his parents, Herb Gunther and Laura Gunther; his daughter Anne Nicole Gunther; and his sisters-in-law, Sally Hanson and Mary Lau.
He is survived by: his wife Lois; his children, Thomas H (Anne-Marie) and Liza Mueller (William); his grandsons, Jack and Ethan Gunther; his brothers, Robert (Nancy), William (Nancy), Jon (Sue) and Michael; and his brother-in-law Paul VanMetre (Margaret). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Lakeview Funeral Home (205 Albion Ave, Fairmont, MN 56031).
