He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Clarence, Nelda Fink, Raymond and Mathilda Johnson; his son Nathaneil Jene Larson; and his granddaughter Natalie Jene Larson.
He is survived by: his parents, Dennis Johnson and Karon Johnson (Fink); his wife Donna Johnson; his children, Nate Johnson (Jori), Alexander Larson (DJ) of Anthony, Matthew Johnson (Alice), Jeremy Johnson, Justin Johnson and Angelica Johnson (Joshua); his grandchildren, Kayla, Tasha, JaDin, Syler, Bentley, Matalina, Juliette, Vivianna, Maverick, Cecelia, Lloyd, Ella and Everlee; his great grandchildren, Waelyn and Ainsley; and his siblings, Tammy Halverson (Larry), Teressa Vachuska and Tracey LaBarge (Rick). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the National Guard Armory (700 N Fairlakes Ave, Fairmont, MN 56031). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Lee C. Prentice American Legion Post #36 (300 Downtown Plaza, Fairmont, MN 56031).
