He was predeceased by: his parents, James V. Hofmaster and Betty J. Hofmaster (Hauge); his siblings, James Jr., Charlie Hofmaster and Norma Jean; his parents-in-law, Lawrence Sr. and Veronica LaCanne; and his brothers-in-law, Lawrence, Jr., Charles, Kenny, Peter and Thomas LaCanne (Sandy).
He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his children, David Hofmaster (Stephanie) of Faribault and Elizabeth Hofmaster of Poynette, WI; his grandchildren, Ryan, Michael, Andrew and Caitlyn; his siblings, Laura Krenske (Frank) of Faribault and Earl Hofmaster (Barb) of Bloomington; his sisters-in-law, Janet Silkey (Dale) of Faribault and Russlyn LaCanne of Miami, FL; his close friend Charlie; and his pets, Scooby and Snowball. He is also survived by nieces; nephews.
