She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Boernsen and Martha Boernsen (Recher); her husband David; her son Michael; her son-in-law David Vroman; her siblings, Delores Sommers (Roger) and Kenneth Boernsen; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Seaberg (Bob) and Ann Alley.
She is survived by: her children, Jean Vroman, Adam, Benjamin and Jim Zielske; her grandchild Allison; her daughter Kay Zielske Wolters; and her granddaughter Nicolle. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (530 4th St NW, Faribault, MN 55021). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
