He was predeceased by: his parents, Helmut Schwartz and Ruth Schwartz (Nielsen); and his brothers-in-law, Eugene Hagberg and Marvin Borchert. He is survived by: his children, Jason Schwartz (Jennifer) and Laura Schwartz (Luke Dusek); his granddaughters, Madeline Mattsen (Evan), Megan, Brianna, Alyssa and Katharine Schwartz; his great grandchild Oliver Mattsen; and his siblings, Butch Schwartz (Kathy), Don Schwartz (Marge), Glen Schwartz (Cheryl), Lynn Schwartz (Cassie), Jim Schwartz (Lori Johnson), Skip Schwartz (Shelly), Jean Hagberg, RuthAnn Borchert and Gloria Heckel (Derald). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
