It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara J. Riedel (Faribault, Minnesota), who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Aase and Lola Aase (Austin); her son Tim Westphal; and her siblings, Thomas Austin, Susan Berntssen and Janice Aase.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Nicole Westphal (A. Grace), Colt (Rachael Volsen), Cody, Megan (Carlos Torres), Chanceller Waskosky, Elba, Natalia, Miranda, Nathan Rodriguez, Tyler (Amber Turner), Brianna (Gunnar Flores) and Maverick Heacock; her great grandchildren, Joseph Grace, Sophia Waskosky, Roman Torres, Malachi, Maddox and Memphis Flores; her children, Teresa Westphal (Wayne Jeno) of Kenyon, Jeff Westphal of Faribault, Tara Rodriguez (Carlos) of Faribault and Karla Heacock (Ed) of Faribault; and her brothers, David (Betty Lou) and Richard Aase (Kris) of Owatonna, MN. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
