He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Mattson and Rose Mattson (Skrumeda); and his grandson Devan Mattson. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Mattson (Nola), Lisa Mehle (Mark), Jennifer Sturgis (Joel), Mary Anderson and Kate Geissler (Jason); and his siblings, Sherrie Martin (Charles), Richard Mattson, Jerry Mattson (Veronica) and Michael Mattson (Marylou Blenkush). He is also survived by many grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
