He was predeceased by: his mother Mildred Umbreit (Sparks); his parents-in-law, Daniel and Edith Jacobson; and his brother-in-law Robert Piper. He is survived by: his granddaughter Meredith; his wife Patricia Umbreit (Jacobson) of Faribault; his son Mark Umbreit (Jennifer) of Faribault; his grandson Jonah of Faribault; his sister Martha Piper of Shorewood; and his sisters-in-law, Karen (Bob Garcia) of Shoreview and Cindy Litzel (Jim) of Harbor City, CA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family prefers that memorials be directed to First English Lutheran Church or the Faribault Hospice Foundation in memory of Chuck.
