With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David F. Dienst of Faribault, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 26, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Dienst and Blanche Dienst (Crandall); his wife Nancy (Kaul); his granddaughter Lizzy Dienst; his siblings, Phyllis Sammon (Bill), Edna "PeeWee" Dickison (John) and Robert Dienst (Diane); and his siblings-in-law, Bud Chappuis, Warren Schmidt and Diane "Dede" Dienst.
He is survived by: his sons, Dusty (Anne) of Faribault and Nick Dienst (Beth) of Faribault; his grandchildren, Hunter (Samantha), Bo (Rylie), Sydney (Adyn) and Mikayla Dienst; and his siblings, Jeanette Schmidt of Faribault, Charles "Ed" Dienst of Faribault, Janice Chappuis of Faribault, Kenny Dienst (Bobbi) of Faribault, Judy Kaul of Northfield, MN, Gloria Kennedy (Paul) of Mankato, MN and Jean Kaul of Burnsville, MN. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Memorials may be directed to Allina Health Hospice or a charity of the donor's choice in memory of David.
