He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Elgin Purdie and Irene E. Dow Purdie; his brother Keith Purdie; and his sister-in-law Patty Purdie (Don Hall). He is survived by: his wife Joan Carroll Langevin of Faribault; his children, Jeffrey Purdie (Peggy) of Faribault, JoDeane Purdie (David Craine) of Faribault, Jennifer Purdie of Massachusetts, DeAhne Purdie of Washington and Kim Nguyen Hall Sevick (Gerald Sevick); his grandsons, Gabriel Purdie (Katie), Eli Campbell, Aidan Campbell, David Hall (Roxanne) and Bob Hall (Kim); his great grandchildren, Tyler, Justin, Devin, Charlie, Brody, Hudson Hall, Kacidy and Finnley Purdie; his brother Bruce Purdie; his sister-in-law Esther Purdie; and his sons, David and Bob Hall.
