He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Gare and Louise Gare (Chavie); his siblings, Kathleen Kubinski, Sharon Sellner and James Gare; and his siblings-in-law, David Kubinski, James Paschke, Mark Smykalski and Carol Jean Gare.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Davidson; his children, Steve Gare (Misae), Paula Mansfield (Kirk) and Dan Gare (Mary); his grandchildren, Erika Gare, Maiya Gare, Mitchell Mees (Chantel), Dakota Mansfield, Hunter Gare and Piper Gare; his sisters, Mary Jean Paschke, Carol Lee (Cornell), Diane Sievers (David), Christine Cashin (Mike) and Debbie Smykalski; his pet Daisy; his nephews, Bill Kubinski and Tim Sellner; and his caregiver Amy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

“We have lost a great man, a great husband, father, grandfather. Dennis was not only a great guy but an Outdoorsman, a great fisherman, hunter, and trapper. I had the privilege of fishing tournaments with him and working with him. Dennis was a master plumber and tradesman. To say Dennis will be missed by many would be an understatement. Condolences to Linda, and all the family. Rest in peace and may God welcome you home.”
