He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Bell and Lucille Bell (Nierenhausen); his wife Kay Roth; his son Peter Bell; his stepfather Frank Hammerschmidt; and his sister-in-law Lois Bell.
He is survived by: his daughter Sandra Hibbard (Steve); his grandchildren, Morgyn, Joseph and Benjamin Hibbard; and his brothers, Thomas Bell of Cold Spring, David Bell (Joan) of St. Cloud and James Bell (Kathy) of Cold Spring. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
