She was predeceased by: her parents, Antoinette Matejcek (Traxler) and Charles Matejcek; her brother Tom Matejcek; and her husband John Murphy of Kilkenny. She is survived by: her children, Charlie Murphy (Carrie), Kathy Kolsrud (Roger), Annette Schwartz (Brad), LuAnn Heyer (Jim) and Tim Murphy (Molly); her stepchildren, Jenny Ayers (Bill), Carrie Moen and Henry Stauff; her grandchildren, Chris, Ben, Heidi, Eric, Joey, Pete, Jack, Nick and Erin; and her stepgrandchildren, Madeline and Andrew. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Minnesota Hospice or Divine Mercy Catholic Church.
