Dorothy C. Morris Obituary
Dorothy C. Morris, age 89 (daughter of Leo and Margaret Friesen) (Linster) was born on May 29, 1928 in Faribault, MN. She married George J. Morris on June 16, 1947 at St. Lawrence Church in Faribault.
Dorothy worked as a sales associate for Ochs Department Store for many years. She also worked as a cook for Faribault Public Schools and Nelson's Grocery Store.
Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her many friends, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a very loving, giving woman. She also enjoyed cooking, knitting, reading, and playing cards.
Dorothy will forever be loved and missed by her children, Jean Morris (Mike Kalien), Deb Morris, and Dennis and Marilyn Morris (Shevlin) of Wasilla Alaska.
Grandchildren: Robert Paukert, Travis Degroot (Rebecca Mottl), Joshua and Kelly DeGroot, and Sarah Kalien of Sarasota, FL.
Siblings: Betty and John Redding (Minneapolis), Delores and Ted McCarty (Minneapolis), Leo and Arlene Friesen (Bloomington).
She also had 6 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband George J. Morris, daughter Linda (Morris) Dugdale, parents Margaret and Leo Friesen, and in laws George A. and Celania Morris.
Visitation will be held on Oct 6th at 9:30A.M, prior to her 11:00 A.M Mass of Christian Burial at Divine Mercy Catholic Church (Faribault, MN)
