He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward V. Hughes and Eleanor Hughes (Kiel); his siblings, Jim Hughes and Christine Stadler; his brothers-in-law, Dick Bortolussi, Leon Wagner and Charles Stadler; and his close friend Suzie.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ellie Bortolussi, Carol Doose (Terry), Matt Hughes (Bonnie) and Colleen Wagner; and his brother-in-law Scott Petersen. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives; and his friends.
In lieu of flowers a memorial gift may be given to Epilepsy Foundation or Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute. in Edward's name.
