He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vernon Krause and Minnie Krause (Detmers); his wife Genelle A. Johnson; his children, Rev. Mark Krause (Rose), David Krause (Leslie) and Suzanne Schwichtenberg (Russ); his grandchildren, Rev. Matthew Krause (Cortney), Philip Krause, Tyler Schwichtenberg, Lindsey Krause, Tara Schwichtenberg and Emily Krause; his great grandchildren, Ella, Evan and Eli Krause; his grandchildren, Allison Krause and Mallory Schwichtenberg; and his siblings, Elvera Pratt, Mabel Hernwall, Harold Krause and Eugene Krause. He was also cherished by friends and relatives.
