With sadness, we share the passing of Elizabeth A. Thomas (Faribault, Minnesota). Elizabeth, born on January 30, 1947, passed away on October 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Sauber and Ethel Schmitz Sauber; her husband Donnie; her brother Michael Sauber; her in-laws, Matt and Margaret Thomas; and her brother-in-law Martin Thomas.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Spencer and Katie Thomas; her children, Ava, Parker, Cash, Zahra, Jesse and Megan Thomas; her grandchildren, Taylor and Tytan; her children, Matthew and Stefanie Thomas; her grandchildren, MJ, Elizabeth and Lenorah; her child Lesley Thomas Farmer; her grandchildren, Kaidence and Bennett; her children, Adam and Rebecca Thomas; her grandchildren, Raziland, London, Dylan and Myles; her son-in-law Brian Farmer; her siblings, Nancy Sauber (Tim Kuntz), Colleen Sauber, Jerry Sauber (Janet) and Bill Sauber (Cindy); and her siblings-in-law, Theresa Thomas, Mary Ann Thomas, Matthew Thomas (Judy) and Daniel Thomas (Paula). She is also survived by numerous cousins and a plethora of friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass was held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church (139 Mercy Dr, Faribault, MN 55021).
The family prefers that memorials be directed to the Divine Mercy Catholic School Endowment Fund or to the Donald and Elizabeth Thomas Family Scholarship Fund at Bethlehem Academy High School in memory of Betsy.
