She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin H. Ritter and Geryettie Ritter (Kuhlmann); her husband Al Burkhartzmeyer; and her siblings, Melvin Ritter, Faye Smith and Lila Burden.

She is survived by: her son Bruce (Sue) of Faribault; her grandchildren, Sarah Hromatka (Erik), Timothy Burkhartzmeyer, Patrick Burkhartzmeyer (Holly) and Ryan Burkhartzmeyer (Christine); and her great grandchildren, Tyler, Ella, Lukas Hromatka, Maxwell, Zachary, Connor Burkhartzmeyer and Ava Burkhartzmeyer.
