With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eugene M. Trench of Faribault, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 3, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Trench and Ruth Trench (Schulz); his daughter Susan Lynn Baum; and his siblings, LaVon Lenox (Merlyn) and Robert Trench (Kay).
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Gear; his children, Michael Trench (Marva Scott), Nancy Serdar (Joseph) and David Trench; and his grandchildren, Angela Davis, Joshua Trench (RoriJean), Ali Arzt (Tyson), Paige Trench (Katie Rivard), Joseph Serdar II (Becky), Patricia Smalley (Taylor) and Ryan Trench (Jenny). He is also survived by seven great grandchildren, nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church of Faribault or the Trinity Radio Club at the church.
