He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Sherwood and Anna Sherwood (Brinckerhoff); his wife Karen Strong; the mother of his children Dorothy Sherwood; his son-in-law Steve Reeves; and his brother Norman Sherwood (Betty).
He is survived by: his sons, David Sherwood (Shirley) of Olathe, KS and Paul Sherwood (Badeish); his siblings, Deborah Schroeder (Mark) of Stillwater, Bonnie Schroeder (Tom) of Wausau, WI, Kim Reeves of St. Paul, Mark Sherwood of Hastings, Lynn Anderson (Randy) of Richfield and Michael Healy of Monroe, LA; and his grandchildren, Tim, Jon, Amanda, Jeremy, Melinda, Nathaniel, Dominique, Christina, Cheryl, Derek, Erik and Kristin. He is also survived by 23 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
