She was predeceased by: her parents, George Pomije and Millie Pomije (Simon); her husband P. John Komarek; her brother Donald Pomije; and her son-in-law Randy Hansen.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Hansen of Faribault, Cheryl LaCroix (Mark) of Norman, OK, Scott Komarek (Connie) of Montgomery and Brad Komarek (Sharon) of Shakopee; her grandchildren, Jason Wells (Brooke), Josh Wells (Brittany), Jordan Hansen (Taylor), Lindsay LaCroix (Theron Brown), Corey Wright, Becky O'Leary (Ryan) and Liz Komarek; her great grandchildren, Cody Mensing, Hunter, Jada Wells, Brooks, Barrett Hansen, Maverick and Aurora O'Leary; her brother George Jr. "Sonny" Pomije (Betty); and her sisters-in-law, Helen Pomije and Mary Kalina (Jim). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
