We are sad to announce that on May 12, 2020, at the age of 81, Gregory Tilkes (Faribault, Minnesota), born in New Hampton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Tilkes' and Rose Tilkes' (Wegner); his wife Elaine; his sister Francie Chapman; and his siblings-in-law, Claude Wisher, Jack Chapman, Joe Whalen, Leo Franzen, Sylvester Wegner, Leonard Rosonke, Jim Burke and Geraldine Tilkes.

He is survived by: his children, Mark Tilkes (Geri) of Evergreen Park, IL, Theresa Schulz (Bob) of Fredericksburg and Jeff Tilkes (Becky) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Mark Tilkes, Brenna Tilkes, Kayla Tilkes, Tara Tilkes, Ella Tilkes, Pierce Schulz, Olivia Tilkes and Tyler Tilkes; his siblings, Vincent Tilkes of Arroyo Grande, CA, Lavern Tilkes (Connie) of New Hampton, Rosella Kerkove (Jack) of North Washington, Jane Lynch (Gene) of Lawler, Laurine Whalen of New Hampton and Darlene Franzen of New Hampton; and his close friend Bev Jodsaas of St. Paul. He is also survived by eight children.
