Herbert J. Sellner Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Herbert J. Sellner of Faribault, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 3, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Herbert's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Herbert has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Sellner and Grace Sellner (Wilson); his wife Sharon Gare; his son Timothy; and his brother Wilson Sellner.
He is survived by: his children, Lynn Samuel (John), Michael Sellner (Amy) and Dean Sellner (Nikie). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home (1725 Lyndale Ave N, Faribault, MN 55021). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park (1435 Willow St, Faribault, MN 55021).
Besides his love for music, he enjoyed donating his time at the Faribault Senior Center and Habitat for Humanity.
