He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Glynn and Louise Glynn (Dressen); his former wife Patricia Merrill; and his siblings, Geraldine Caron (Cyril) and Dennis Glynn.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Glynn (Johnson); his children, Dianne Lockerby (Dwight), Patrick Glynn (Adele) and Julie Schema (Anthony); his grandchildren, Saul Lockerby (Sarah), Kristen Jorgensen (Trevor), Jackie Nielsen (Patrick), Jason Glynn (Cassie), Heather Rasmussen (James), Brian Schema (Melissa), Jacob Schema (Becky) and Joe Schema (Hilary); his stepchildren, Susan Bartz (Greg), Marcia Bettenhausen (Kris), Cynthia Peters (Bill) and Christopher Lindholm (Kristin); and his sisters-in-law, Elaine Glynn and Elaine McDonald. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be disbursed to various local organizations which Jim participated.
