He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Taggart and Marion Taggart (Willson); his daughter Jamie; and his brothers, Art and Tom Taggart.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Taggart (Klapperich); and his children, LeRoy Taggart (Kellie), Sun Taggart and Jin Heida. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; by seven brothers and sisters and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
