He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Thompson and Violet C. Dettmer; and his brothers, William and Randy Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Annette Rasmusson; his children, Brad Thompson (Rebekah Adams), Bryon Thompson and Brooke Thompson (Travis Andersen); his grandchildren, Nicolas Thompson, Tristan Thompson, Riley Thompson, Andrew Flicek, Ava Adams, Chase Flicek, Corbin Donkers, Evan Andersen and Delores Andersen; his siblings, Rose Marie Buendorf and Larry Thompson (Tammy); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Kay Thompson, Nate Rasmusson, Dale Wadding (Becky) and Den Wadding (Roxy).
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Boldt Funeral Home (300 Prairie Ave SW, Faribault, MN 55021).
