She was predeceased by : her parents, Leo Thompson and Irene Thompson (Caron); her husband Nikolas Pitsavas; and her sisters, Carol Nichols and Marlene Karow.

She is survived by : her sons, Michael Johnson and Richard Johnson; her siblings, Francis Thompson (Shelly Barnett), Veronica Newburg, Bernadette Marx, Patrick Thompson (Constance) and Mark Thompson; her stepchildren, Aleka Pitsavas, Loula Valek (Brad), Nicole Pitsavas and Dimitrios Koutsageros; and her close friends, Shirley Herrin and Jo Caron. She is also survived by 7 step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
