He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan Francis and Rita Jarvis (Otto); his daughter Shannon Hermans; and his sister Janelle LaCanne. He is survived by: his wife Julie Jarvis; his daughter Jessica Hermans; his grandchildren, Chloe and Jameson Clammer; and his siblings, Theresa Friesen (Ryan), Jerome Jarvis (Jacqueline), Laurie Murray, Jeffrey Jarvis (Dorothy DeJong), Rochelle Cloutier (Robert), Rebecca Lambert and Joan Jarvis. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
