He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Patton and Luvicie Patton (Stokes); his daughter Joy Rene Patton; his sister Wynona Brienen; and his half-siblings, Eloise Fraser and Harvey Patton.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Erickson and Joshua Patton; the mother of his children Joyce Patton; his grandchildren, Tyrese, JaMarcus, Daisy (DJ), JaShayla, Athena and Gertrude; and his sisters, Bessie Sikes and Mary Singletary (Brian). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
